About
Corey holds a Master’s in Education Leadership and Policy from American University and is passionate about helping people to show up as their best selves, and leveraging vulnerability and courage to create positive and transformative communities.
He currently manages a GED program helping citizens of Washington, D.C earn their GED and find entry level positions to career fields of their choice. He has served as a secondary educator teaching English and History, founded a company, Have A Heart LLC., geared towards offering tutoring and education consulting sessions for different stakeholders in the DMV, and has recently taken up pursuits in becoming a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor.
Originally from Tulsa, he studied in Greece and Rome, worked in Louisiana, and is now based in Washington D.C. He loves books, yoga, and lemonade.
